Student 2014 mechanical install problem

Hi i have tried to install the student version of the 2014 mechanical and it failed when i tried again i get a message sying only one instance of this can be run at any one time. I have removed all traces from my computer and tried again and got same message can anyone help

I want to activate my license key but as soon as i click activate, it gives me a blank page and it does not give me any instructions.
