I'm not sure if this is the right area or not, but here is my
question.
We are using a novell network system, windows NTos,
MDT4.0 and A2K software. When I change the Start in:
area under the mdt4.0 properties, shortcut, from c:\program files\dwg
to a network drive J:, H: or any other network drive letter, the
program will crash without any warning after I launching it.
Any ideas out there?
Thanks in advance,
Greg Abel

P.S.
When we would change the drive letter in mdt3.0 everything worked just
fine.

We run AutoCAD Map which creates a file when launched. Everyone needs to
have read/write rights to the location of the start-in. Most of the users
here do not have write authorization to the root of a network drive which
is where many people here tried to redirect the start-in. This may be a
starting point for you.

Thanks for the tip Bruce, however, I posted this in the mdt4 support
newsgroup as well, and I believe this problem has been addressed, not
solved, but dealt with.
