Alright I have been having big problems lately in small batches... Or the other way around depending on how you look at it…
We know we had a switch problem downstairs but my gut says it is permissions based. We have Symantec and asking the IT Security team to turn it off for any install is like asking the pope to go to a strip club with you.
someone has to be changing the license file
what does the license manger say when you run a status inquiry?
what does the debug log say?
is there an error number that pops up when your launch the product?

Dont think anyone is messing with it becuase they dont know where it is and our servers are hidden. No error other than it cannot find the server...

it could be a firewall issue
can they ping the license server by name and does it return the right IP address?
i ran into that issue where it returned the wrong IP address and it would not grab a license because of it

What's that old saying... When you see hoof prints in the mud dont go looking for a Zebra...
My main panic was one use who was doen. His Network connection died (not sure if it is the line or the card) switched him to wireless and worked fine...
But the other randoms I still do not understand. And it is always 1-2 users at a time and not the same twice. All in diffrent locations around the floor.
As for your deployments, you only need to stick to the UNC pathing of \\Servername\Sharename and nothing more. That will prevent the pathing issues.
Furthermore, you need to always use the ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE @SERVERNAME variable and you won't have to worry about where the client is pointing because this setting will always take precedence.
