Hi all,
I subscribed to Autodesk a few years ago and had Inventor 2012, then got the 2013 and 2014 upgrade. I have not renewed the subscription so i guess it has now expired. Does this mean i have lost the ability to transfer the license to a new computer? I am trying to transfer it from my old pc to a new one, and the transfer utility is saying
Export Request Failed
The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again. (1)
Click the "Try Again" link to resubmit the request.

... or is this something to do with i have 2014 installed on my laptop and 2013 on my pc? does installing the new version make the license stop working?
thanks all.

This is typical behavior.
Hope that helps.
if you let your subscription lapse you can no longer use the previous versions anymore

Hi,
If you pay thousands of pounds for the software, and then decide not to renew - the versions you have had under the subscription can surely not become un-usable?
I had the 2014 upgrade whilst i was subscribed, so surely this version should still work after i stop renewing the subscription?
thanks,
sijcooke.
