Serious Error - Library .... d3dx9_42.dll does not exist

Just installed Inventor PDS 2012 and when trying to open a file or start a new file in Inventor - I get "Serious Error - Library c:\program files\autodesk\inventor 2012\bin\d3dx9_42.dll does not exist"  -  Then Inventor crashes.

I found the d3dx9_42.dll file on the USB stick and copied it in the file listed above, rebooted - and still same problem.

Any suggestions much appreciated

Thanks

Jim

Check c:\windows\system32 and put it in there.

Thanks Dazzman - That folder had the file in it, but it was a different size than the file supplied by Autodesk, so I copied the file from my new Autodesk usb stick to that folder, tried loading Inventor file again - still didnt work.

Thanks for the try though.
