Serial Number Not Valid

Trying to install 2012 on a new laptop. Cannot activate keep getting the error message serial number is not valid.

I tried looking for a license under your name but I was unable to locate any serial numbers that were associated to your email address. For direct licensing assistance please contact our Activation and Registration department through our Contact Us page.
