Serial Number Issues

I downloaded AutoCAD for Mac (student version), and it's giving me an error message when I type in my serial number, saying it's in the wrong format. Can someone tell me what's going on? I copied and pasted my serial number from my profile so I'm not sure why it would be wrong.

There's a known issue affecting AutoCAD for Mac that prevents Educational Licenses form activating through the installation process. Please see the corresponding workaround which is discussed here.
