Saving Files

I have recently started noticing that when saving my file, it is creating 2 extra files, an atmp file and a sav****.tmp file into the same directory as my dwg.  Each atmp and sav****.tmp file is the same file size as my actual dwg and sometimes slightly larger.  How do I stop this from happening?

AutoCAD is being prevented from deleting, renaming and adding new files: what did you change recently? Where are you saving your files? This is a system level problem.

AutoCAD's QSAVE does the following:
Saves to TMP file
deletes the old BAK file
Renames the DWG to BAK
Renames the TMP to DWG

ATMP is created if the TMP filoe is present.

I haven't changed anything. It just started a couple weeks ago. My files
are all saved to my companies network drive.

Is there a variable I could have typed that turns on or off the tmp file
creation??

No 'variable', something on your network drive is stopping AutoCAD from performing the functions I noted in my last reply.

Engage your I.T./network Administrator, there is no fix inside AutoCAD. Sorry.
