Both stations have 256 MB Ram
Has anybody ran into this?
My set up would be per above info using a drawing about 1.2MB. When I
pull it up and save on a Win98se station it saves it at a blink of an
eye. (save it a few times, the first save usually takes longer). Now
pull the drawing up in Win2000 and do the same thing. On the Win2000
station it takes longer to save. At least this is the problem that we
are having. I can get the same results in Word or Exel if I use a large
enough file. Win98se station saves faster. This seems to happen on all
Win2000 stations regardless of there processor speed.
Has anybody else experienced this? If so, is there a setting in Win2000
to fix this? Or does it look like something with our network settings?
Any feed back would be appreciated. If anybody can run the test and let
me know what your results are I would appreciate it.
