Running Multiple Versions on One Machine

We have decided that we want to install Civil 3D 2010 on our machines which are currently running Civil 3D 2009. I have read on these forums that side by side installations work fine. My question is if there are any special considerations, settings, etc. that I need to be aware of, or any special steps I need to take as far as setting it up to work properly. Any input will be appreciated.

Nothing special. Just pop in the disc and go. 😃
