Running Flexlm functions from a command line.

Normally, when I alter the .opt file, etc. for Autodesk licenses, I remote into the license server and run the LMTOOLS app to make changes.  I know that Flexlm functions (lmreread, lmgrd, lmstat, etc.) can be used to administrate the license server through a command line.  Can someone point me to a guide on these Flexlm functions and the safe way to execute them?

Absolutely!  The official FLEXLM guide can be downloaded directly here:

http://www.globes.com/support/utilities/fnp_LicAdmin_11_12_1.pdf

You can then run all the lmutil.exe commands using that guide.  They work well, btw.

Good Luck!
