Revit Sructure 2012 install issue

I am trying to install Revit Structure 2012 on my laptop but it continues to give me errors.  I am using Windows 8 and I will attach the install log.  Please let me know if you have any sugestions.

Autodesk 2012 products are not supported on Windows 8.  However, you *might* have some luck running the setup.exe in Windows 7 compatibility mode as Administrator.

The failure on the install is due to a prerequisite.  You should try to install these manually for Windows 8 versions.

Install	Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86)	Failed	Installation aborted, Result=1603

 Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that this 2012 will work on your Windows 8.  You might need to either downgrade to Windows 7 or upgrade your product to 2014.
