Revit 2015 and SBS2011 - unsupported OS error

Hi,

Currently we have revit 2013 licensing server running on SBS 2011 and has been running without any issues for a while.

When I try to install revit 2015 server on the same server the following error comes up:

Operating system unsupported
You cannot install this product on the current operating system. Please read the system requirements for details.

As per your website, revit 2015 system requirements is server 2008 R2 on which SBS2011 is based. I have search your site for possible solutions, but cannot find anything to resolve my problem. The server has been patcghed with the latest updates.

Any help will be apprciated

SBS 2011 is not Server 2008 r2

so just because it is based off server 2008 r2 it doesn't mean it will work

you can try this hack: http://do-u-revit.blogspot.com/2011/04/revit-server-goes-desktop.html

but no gurantee this will work
