Revit 2014 load error on first startup after install on windows 8.1

Hi Autdesk Community

I have tried installing revit 2014 a number of times and it sucessfully installs but will not load, see screenshot of error attached. in response to the error reort feedback i have installed updates 1, but when i try to install update 2 it does not recognise that revit 2014 is installed. 

As an additional note before upgrading to windows 8.1 i had revit 2013 woring on the computer, but uninstaaled it in an attempt to do a fresh install of revit 2014, but now i cant install revit 2013 or 2014.

If relavant i have navisworks and mudbox succesffully working on the computer

Can you provide any help with this?

You have a corrupt install. I would uninstall what you have and then reinstall and include the Service pack at that point. In the installer, when you check the box to install Revit, click the Drop-down arrow beneath the box to open the configuration options.

There should be an area to include the service pack on install.
