Installation & Licensing

I'm a student and i have downloaded/installed revit 2013 from students.autodesk.com but when i attempt to start revit it occures an error saying "error license system 30: failed to start AdLM". I already unistall it and reinstall it and the error continues to occur what i should do?
I'm using window 8 64-bit

but I have a friend who has installed successfully on windows 8 with no problems and presumably i have installed sucessfully autocad 2013 and it isn't on that list

no gurantee any of these will work on Windows 8
