Ugh, I see this screen when attempting to install Revit Architecture 2012:
I attached the installation log file as well.
1603 is generic permission error, please try a clean installation in diagnostics mode ad true windows administrator

if the issue persists please post all the log files from the %temp% folder ( as a zip file)
