    Revit 2012 installation fail

    At the end of installation appear error "microsoft visual studio for app. 2.0 - cannot find one or more components"

    after this launcher finished the installation and wrigth - innstalled succesfully. 

     

    when i attempt to start revit it buzzed on splash screen.

     

    the same problem with revit 2011

     

    Windows XP SP3

    Geforce GTS 450 1gb

    C++ 2008, 2010

    Uninstall your Microsoft Visual Studio Tools.  Then repair install your Revit.   Clearly something with your Visual Studio is not playing nicely.  Perhaps with a Visual C++ Redistributable prerequisite?
