Revit 2012 Install problem

I have downloaded a student version of Revit MEP 2012 32/64

I am running Vista Ultimate SP2 64 bit

I have an I7 2.67GHz 18GB ram

I start the install and it fails amost intantly

It looks like its trying to install the x86 version

Ive tried a clean reboot, with nothing else running

Any clues?

Your failure will be listed in the installation log file.  It's most likely a prerequisite installation that is failing. If so, remove that program from your computer first then try the installation again.
