Render Farm facility(s) for MAYA 2011

HIi,

For now I want to  build Render Farm for MAYA 2011 (standalone version).

I want to ask here, what facility(s) for that? for the software and hardware or else (with specification detail requirement)?

I need its picture of installation, its brand suggestion and estimation price for all those I need. Waiting for the information. Thanks

Maya Software/Hardware/Vector is free so if the files are using those rendering options, you can install it on as many computers as you want and you can command line render.  Don't install Composite, Matchmover or the Documentation.

mental ray = if you buy 1 network license, you will have a 5 machine renderfarm.  Just use Backburner to render to it.  You can view the info in the Maya Documentation.  If you have 2 network licenses of Maya , you will have a 10 machine renderfarm.

If you are going bigger, you need to google "Maya Render Queue Manager".   A good starting point is here:

Now, i ask about Render Workstation Storage.. My question is should i use renderPRO ? or may i use other brand?

do you have reference other brand ? and where can I buy it in Indonesia ? or nearby ?

At this point, you can probably talk to a reseller. Some of them should deal with hardware and software solutions.
