Reinstalling 3DS Max 2008 - Serial number not valid error (1)

After a long hiatus from CGI I decided to get back into the biz & thought I would dust off my skills with my old version of 3DS Max.

After I reinstalled it on my computer as the software was loading I got a "Your License has expired" error message. When I went to reactivate my home use license I get an error that my product serial number in invalid. I have the original box in my hand & it most assuredly is valid.

How can I reactivate my product for home use?

Thank you,
