Redundant servers

Currently I have one machine as my ADLM server for our Autodesk
products. This machine serves the main building and another building
through a T1 line. Can I setup a second machine as a failover in the
other building in case we loose connection through the T1 line? I've
read someplace that I need to have on odd number of machines for a
redundant server pool, but this would cost more money and is really
unecessary in our case.

Also is there a link on the net that shows how to set up the servers
(i.e. Primary and Secondary)?

Thanks in advance

Yes the redundant server scheme requires an odd number of servers. It will not work with
only 2 (over half the server must be up for it to work). For some general information on
using redundant server see
http://support01.autodesk.com/knowledgebase/html/148232.htm#E9E11 (watch for wrapping).
Autodesk also doesn't recommend redundant servers over a wan (they don't say that it won't
work, only that they don't recommend it, see
http://support01.autodesk.com/knowledgebase/html/148232.htm#E9E11 (watch for wrapping) for
more information on the redundant servers over the wan).

sorry
