Redundant servers on different domains?

Hi,

I have a question and I can't locate the answer anywhere. Is it possible to install the adlm tools on different domains and license the software with the redundant server model? I'm not sure at the time if the different domains reside on different subnets... I believe that there are some restrictions if the license tools reside on a different subnet (according to the manual) but can any of these be done?

Thanks for the help....

Yes, it can be done.  But you would have to be able to access the NLM across the different domains from the client.  So long as this is possible, it works.  A redundant setup always requires at least 2 out of the 3 servers to be up and running.  Thus my argument has always been that the redundancy is not about uptime, but about doing more work than you have to.  The redundant model is the least desired setup of the three choices.
