Re-installing network client error

When trying to re-install Acad2000 from a silent deploy, I get the
message that it already exists and then it cancels. Someone had
previously deleted the files without doing a proper uninstall. Is there
any other way besides editing the registry to force the re-install? TIA.

Without editing the registry?? Not that I've found. If you're comfortable
editing your registry I can walk you through it. If you're not comfortable
editing the registry I don't know of a way to re-install.

If you are installing from the same deployment as was originally installed
you can navigate to HKLM\Software\Autodesk\Autocad and delete the complete
R15 "folder". This should allow you to complete the re-install. If you are
installing from a different location then there are some additional settings
that will have to be cleaned up. Let me know if you need them and I'll try
to figure out hwere they are.
