REVIT 2013 is extremely slow

I updated my student software to Revit 2013 and for some reason it is running real slow. I have made several basic searches on google and can see it is a common problem for alot of people but i have been unable to find a solution that works.
Is it work uninstalling the 2013 program and re-installing the 2012 again?
