I am setting up a license server to replace a box that is about to be retired. The license server is running ADLM for a a 3 user floating license for R14 for a few people that still use R14. The new license server has been installed, and the keys generated.
I took a non-production workstation that had a working installation pointing to the old license server and uninstalled R14, and reinastalled from the new server's client install folder.
The client (which was working before) now pops up a box that says "Fatal Error: Security System (hardware lock or network license) is not functioning or is improperly installed.
The ADLM log on the server says the following in the default verbosity level (3):
@ [0]: Missed packet: Bad file descriptor.
Running it again with verbosity 9 yields:
03-Aug-05 11:38:27: Packet from 172.16.3.66 (Remote).
