Question on deploying acad 2008

In previous releases the deployment wizard would create an MSI file with all customizations included in it. Then I could just roll out the MSI through active directory.

However, thi time around i get a shortcut instead which points to an INI file. The problem is, I can only use an MSI to deploy through Active Directory.

How has everyone else been deploying acad 2008?

UPDATE:

I found the .MSI and .MST files in the admin folder for my deployment package. I pushed them both out through active directory....

acad opens fine, but it did not load any of the custom configurations (ie: search paths)

UPDATE:

I can now get all the search paths, acad opens fine, but i get several error messages in the process. Anyone seen these messages?

It sounds like you need to go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs ->
AcadR2008 -> Change -> Repair.

Hi ;

I have a deployment of Autodesk Products 2008 scheduled for Jan 2008 and I'm getting the same errors as you. Did you find a fix for it. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Jules
