Product Key Failure for 3ds Max 2015 (Student Free Edition)

Hello!

 

I have downloaded the required software for 3ds Max 2015 for Student, and I have also recieved the email containing the Serial Number and my Product Key.

 

There is a tick after the Serial Number so I am assuming that is correct however there is a cross after my Product Key. I am typing this in at the installation stage

 

I have typed in 128G1 for the Product Key

 

I am guessing that I might have not recieved the correct product key or possibly it is outdated or something...

 

All the help you can give is appreciated.

Hi @Elfsmelf and welcome to the Community:)

 

The Product Key 128G1 is correct for 3ds Max 2015. 

 

The issue here is probably with the serial number (due to a bug, a cross may appear after the Product Key even if the serial number is faulty instead of the Product Key). 

 

Could you please send me a Private Message with your serial number and request code (click on my camilo.lemos profile name and then on Send This User a Private Message)?

I'm having the same issue with the student version of 3ds Max 2015. My serial number is correct but the activation is saying the 128G1 product key is wrong. There hasn't been any request code in the activation process and I cannot find it in the software's files.
