Problems with AC2002 in a Network

We ´ve recently migrated to Autocad 2002 installed in a network with 6
licenses.
We want to mantain a 20 minutes autosave and to save in R14 format in order
to preserve 100% of compatibility with others partners.

The problem is that AutoCAD 2002 always change the configuration in the
settings of our profiles. (autosave, etc...)
Is a bug or we are doing something wrong?

We have a novell network, Windows 2000 and AutoCAD 2002 runing installed in
a server with 6 licenses.

Thanks
José Luis
