    Problems Installing Revit Architecture 2012

I am a student trying install a DL student version of Revit on a WinXP64 machine.  It goes through the whole process but at the end tells me that it has failed to install. I tried the Autodesk knowledge base suggestion, to uninstall all Autodesk software and try again, to no avail.   In a previous thread it was suggested that I try uninstalling Visual C++ and then allow Revit to install it again.  No good.  Finally, a contributor suggested I modify the setup.ini file, but I don't know how to do this.

I've been able to successfully install AutoCAD and AutoCAD Architecture.

    Can anyone help?

I've attached teh install log and setup.ini (changed the .ini to .txt to send it).
