Problem with AutoCAD now cannot re-install - URGENT

AutoCAD was working fine until one day it would just not open, an error box came up and the software had disappeared for some reason.

Now when i am re-installing the software it installs fine until it attempts to install the materials section (just after installing C++ and DirectX)

It then says there is a problem with the installer and i cannot install it.

I need the software ASAP for my university course, help?

Oh, and i'm running on windows 7.

** I have attached a screen shot

I have, but that's for windows vista...and the explanation doesn't really help me as i do not know what to do to edit the registry.

This is the solution that post is referencing:

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?linkID=9240617&id=8254094&siteID=123112

You will need to upload the log file to Autodesk forums.

Please add this to your registry and run the installer again:

Ok i've just done that, i found that there was already a "Logging" string value except the value was "voicewarmupx" not "voicewarmup" so i changed it.

I still get the same problem even after making those changes.

There should be a larger log file now in the temp folder.

Here you go

There should be a more detailed log file in the temp folder and it will have a series of letters and numbers on it.  It will not have "AutoCAD" in it.

You might also try disabling the User Access Control in Windows Control Panel then try installing again.

I'm using the administrator account so there are no issues with user access.

Here are all the log files from the latest installation attempt.

I'll add the other 3 in another post, as i don't know which you need.

1. Create a Standalone deployment and name the deployment:  Test

2. Then go into the Deployment\AutoCAD\2011\AdminImage.

3. Look for: Test.ini

4. Edit Test.ini and edit the following:

We are going to have the deployment not install the Material Library so that you can a least install AutoCAD.

==================== IL : Autodesk ProMaterial 2011 Library - Low Image Library
EXE_PARAM=
PATCHES=
[CMILL]
PRODUCT_NAME=Autodesk Material Library 2011 - Low Resolution
PLATFORM=ALL
EXE_PATH=echo
LOG=%tmp%\MaterialLibrary2011CMILL.log
ACTION=INSTALL

==================== IL : Autodesk ProMaterial 2011 Library - Medium Res Library
EXE_PARAM=
PATCHES=
[CMILM]
PREREQUISITE=OS;IE;CM;CMILL
PRODUCT_NAME=Autodesk Autodesk Material Library 2011 - Medium Image Library
PRODUCT_MESSAGE=AcSetupRes.dll;61
PRODUCT_ICON=
PLATFORM=ALL
EXE_PATH=echo
LOG=%tmp%\MaterialLibrary2011CMILM.log
ACTION=
REMOVE_PATH=
ROLLBACKABLE=YES
USE_EXTERNAL_UI=YES
EULA_PATH=EULA
ALLOW_ADD_REMOVE=NO
ADMIN_INSTALL=YES

5.  The typical deployment will have the .msi file location instead of echo.

It's not a problem anymore, i installed 2010 instead. Every single person on my course is having problems with autocad 2011.
