The name doesn't matter; the transfer depends only on the correct Computer
ID.
On your new PC, import the transfer file, and click "Browse" to point to the
file. After you return from the Browse dialog, the lower fields will be
filled in from the actual transfer file. You can verify yourself if the
Computer ID is correct.
If you have exported to the wrong Computer ID, there is no easy way to
recover it. It's like mailing a check to the wrong address. In this case,
please call Support for help (not the Auth Codes group).
You can always re-do the export on your old PC (if you still have it), to
re-create the transfer file. Give it a new, distinctive name, just in case
you're accidentally reading in the wrong file.

I am tryign to transfer my existing licence from my old PC to new PC.I
exported licence from the old PC as per the procedure.(I have done for many
computers before). But now when i tried to import the Licence I am getting
error saying that licence is not suitable for this computer.I believe when
exported i gave wrong identification Number or may be with Computer name( I
have changed the new Computer's name).Anyway is there any way to retrieve
the exported licence? How can i activate my licence again without formatting
my PC?
Please advise me.
