On the licensed machine, try to create an entry in the computer list for the
licensed machine itself (actually, it should be there already). If this
works, then that eliminates the possibility of any directory permissions
problems. That leaves only the possibility that the MIC is too short, too
long, or has two or more digits transposed. (It allows zeroes and alpha "O"
to be used interchangeably.)
Take another look, and try again. Perhaps paste it into a Notepad file, and
carry that on a floppy. Lots of people have stared at these numbers, and
then eventually find the typo (including me).
Is this for AutoCAD 2004? How does this PLU compare to the previous
version?

I have the machine identification code from the machine I wish to export the
license to but when this entered on the licensed machine it will not accept
it. It gives me the message "invalid machine ID code". I have entered the
MIC verbatim but it will not work. Any suggestions?
