Portable License Utility - General Question

Hello:

In addition to 3D Studio Viz, what AutoDesk products support the Portable License Utility ? Also, where is documentation on its use located ?

AFAIK everything but the US English versions of autocad (and verticals) support the Portable License Utility (but I am by no means
an expert on the different types of builds)

The documentation for the Portable license utility should be in the installation guide of the product (for example the installation
guide for adt is adt_ig.chm). Go to the index of the installation guide and start typing portable, a couple of clicks later you will
be at the Portable License Utility documents.

The Portable License Utility was introduced with
AutoCAD 2000i products that use the software locking technology typically found
in markets outside North America. The utility is used to transfer the
license between machines similar to moving a hardware lock around in Pre 2000i
products.

Simon,

you are forgetting the "unforgettable" PLU that was "tried" out with
R14.01 for a VERY short time!

Of course, my apologies, in the Nordic and APAC regions a pilot program was
run with softlocked R14.01.
