Package feature w/ 2008 products

I was wondering has anyone tried to limit usage of previous products with
the options file since the addition of the "package" feature in the new
license files? I assume we can still uses groups and feature codes to
exclude or include usage of specific products?

Thanks,
glr

You make a good point. I have not tried this, but I would assume that it would have to work. Especially given that the package still has to use the correct feature code for the proper product.

Maybe JTB can try this for us?

Hi,
Yes you can make restrictions on feature level on each feature in a package
or on the package feature it self. Say you have 15 AutoCAD you can restrict
using the options file to allow say 10 AutoCAD 2009 and 5 AutoCAD 2008 but
no older versions.
