Ordinal 278 could not be located in the dynamic link library msi.dll

Hi --

I'm trying to install 3DSMax on a Mac using a new copy of Parallels to run it under a Windowd XP virtual machine.  When I put the disk in and double click on the icon I get the following error:

Ordinal 278 could not be located in the dynamic link library msi.dll

This is a new installation, no Autodesk products have been previously installed.  What can I do to make this work?

Thanks,

Roland

I tried deleting the contents of %TEMP% and restarting in Diagnostic mode using MSCONFIG, but neither helps.

Please advise as I need to get 3DS Max installed asap.

Thanks a lot

Fully updating the Windows installation fixed the problem
