No autodesk key in registry error??

While following the instructions to shut off the wscommcntr1.exe I had to install the Cad Manager Control Utility. I did that, but when I go to run the cad manager control utility i get an error that says "No Autodesk based product key in registry" (see screen cap) If anyone has an idea what this means or how to fix it let me know. I need to get the comm center turned off it is causing problems for me.

I think it means that CAD Manager couldn't find any installed Autodesk
products. Which products are installed on that system? Or do you just have
comm center installed?

Install anything -- even one of the free viewers -- that might be a
workaround.

That's the weird thing...I have LDDT 2006, civil 3D, Civil Design, and Survey all installed before I installed the Cad Manager Utility. Its almost as if during installation the reg key did not get properly written???? I don't really know what to do.

Perhaps some other software is blocking access to the registry? Try
Support...

Hi,

just perhaps your CAD Manager is from a pre 2006 version and doesn't recognize 2006-based products. Go and download the newest version from the subscriptionplace!

Cheers,

Petri, Finland
