No SERVER lines in license file.

Trying to get my combined AutoCAD 2007 and 3DMax license file to work.

Here is what I've tried so far.

1. Made sure only to append all after INCREMENT.

2. Made sure the actual SERVER was in the license file.

3. Tried checking the IGNORE license file path environment variable check box.

4. On the Config Services Tab I've checked and unchecked the USE SERVICES and START SERVER at POWER UP radio buttons.

5. Tried stopping and starting the the server buttons and re-reading the License File.

Not sure what to do at this point. Can anyone help????

Are you getting some kind of error? You didn't specify what the actual problem is?

1. Yes, only append the Increment lines and below to the original file.

2. Server lines above that should be the same in both license files before combining them to ensure compatibility of the license files. Servername and MAC address should match those listed in the System Settings tab.

3. Insignificant

4. Make sure both boxes are checked then click Save Service

5. Start the service. Then do a Perform Status Enquiry on the Server Status tab. This should show you your licenses and/or any errors. If it shows both licenses available, you are all set.

Your FlexLM should be version 10.8.

Post any problems here.

Interesting errors. Go to LMTOOLS and click Help > About. Make sure you are using version 10.8. Perhaps your license manager is too old?

It's possible you made a mistake when combining the files. Do the original files work individually without combining them?
