I am in the process of setting up a new deployment for Revit 2013. I have no issues until I try and import my Custom.ini file. I can locate the inin file and select it from the browse button, no problem there. When i click import I get an error message that reads: Project Path path error: Path is a relative path. Complete path is required.
I have tried using paths that are:
F:\REVIT stuff\Revit 2013\Content\Libraries\US Imperial\Detail Items
And I have triued using paths that are:
\\dkfile\master\REVIT stuff\Revit 2013\Content\Libraries\US Imperial\Detail Items
Neither path name works. I figured that i must have a space at the end of one of my paaths in the ini file. I have went through and checked that. No problems there.
I guess my question is what type of path is the ini file looking for?
The error message is about the Project Path, not the content or library paths.
Open your Revit.INI and check your path for the line that starts ProjectPath=
Based on the error message you are getting your is probably something like the default "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\", a relative path. You need to change this to a fixed path, like F:\Revit Stuff
Thanks,
Danny
