New Computer / Upgraded software

We are currently running a stand-alone Inventor Suite 2010 with Windows XP Home.

Vault is setup.  All of our Inventor/CAD files reside in a folder (34 GB) on the desktop of this computer.

We have purchased a new computer with Windows 7.

We have also purchased Inventor Suite 2012.

What is the best way to transition to the new computer and upgraded software? Can I simply move the folder containing my files and then install Inventor 2012?

I would suspect that would work just fine.  You don't seem to be using a Vault solution, so simply migrating all of your old Inventor files to 2012 should be pretty straight forward.
