Networking error: Server not responding.

hello, we are getting this error when we install Revit 14 on a client window 7 from a window 2008 R2 server.

We have successfully installed the Revit 14 on several other PC, without a problem - so we have narrow the problem to the PC.

We can browse through out our server, but it does not find the license file.

Any help will be appreciated.

Rick

try the IP address

could be a firewall issue

The FLEXlm® based version uses the following ports:
TCP ports 2080 (for the adskflex vendor daemon)
TCP ports 27000 to 27009 (for the lmgrd master daemon)

After searching the registry, adskflex_license_file was pointing to the old server.

Change it and it's now finding the license file.
