Network version of ACAD2004?

We are a Small Company and are starting to receive many DWG files. We have
been using the old Arctix Technical to open them. Though we need more
functionality. We have been looking at AutoCAD LT, though at $600-$700 we
cant afford a copy for all 4 of us. Though only 2 of us would ever use
the app at a time. Is there a Network version that I can install and have
users 'Check out' a License?

Thanks,
Scott<-

There is no network license for LT.

But for AutoCAD 2004 there is.

Take a look at the trial version of SmartPurger (now for AutoCAD 2004) or
download some freeware at www.jtbworld.com

But one licence of AutoCAD is more than the four licenses of LT they can't
afford.

Scott, if what you really need is two users doing drawings, and two doing
markup and/or printing, maybe you could look at VoloView for two seats. I am
not sure if LT will read the markup XML, but you could perhaps markup and
print to paper in Volo, then use the paper markups along with LT to so the
edits.

Best,
Gordon
