Installation & Licensing

i am thining of switching form stand-alone to network licensing. obviously i
may encounter a few problems but in general is it a good move.
does it work over a WAN?
if my server goes down how long before my workstation will close down?

sorry for the double posting - autodesk decided to move it for me!!! - the
reason i cross posted in the forst place was cos i wasnt getting any
responses!!
