Network licenses and one standalone !

Hello,

We have bought 16 network licenses for a classroom and one standalone license for the instructor to be able to work at home. We were told that it is the same license that will apply to network and standalone pc.

The network is working well (deployment and so on) but we are not able to install the standalone license (we are on a trial license for 1 month).

Reading this forum I am afraid that we will have to borrow a license, etc. This is not possible because we have not connection between the two parts.

Is there another way to proceed in order to install that license correctly on the standalone pc. TY

What exactly is the problem? Error message?

In particular, the network licenses and the standalone licenses typically
have separate serial numbers, are installed differently, and are authorized
differently.

Actually, to clarify, network and standalone have the have different serial
numbers, even on subscription, because of the difference in the way they
activate!

Hi,

On subscription you must use the Group ID.

Ok, so it seems we were fooled by the reseller.

I have no other possibilities than to ask for the activation code corresponding to my s/n.

Hello Brasseur,
You can authorize your standalone version of AutoCAD at
https://register.autodesk.com/servlet/COM.autodesk.EReg.ERegServlet

If you're on subscription you'll use the Group ID; if not, then you'll use the SN for the standalone.

FYI, as I already posted, even on subscription, you will have two different
numbers, one for all you standalones and one for your networks.

Everything is ok now. Thank you for your help.

I have asked the registration authorities for activation code and so on, works well.
