Network license using maya batch and maya software renderer Maya 2011

According to the following link from Mayastation:

Maya 2010 Render Node Licenses

In Maya 2010 batch renders that utilized the maya software render did not have a limit as to the number of renders that could be started per seat, if I'm reading this correctly.

What are the license restrictions (1,2,...N batch render node per seat) for command line batch render using the maya software as the renderer in Maya 2011?

Hi lancepickens;

   The Maya render application continues to be unlicensed and unlimited.You can render via the software render or Render -r sw on as many machines are you like.

I'd swear I've doen this before, but I am installing Maya on a machine for batch s/ware rendering only and am stumped by the "Enter License Indormation" step.  I thought I'd find an option to install for render-only.  Any insight?
