Hello - I moved the network install point to a brand new file server last
week - but now some users are getting "patch package" and installer errors.
I made a new network share "Adesk" just like the older file server but still
have problems. I tried to uninstall ADT3.3 but I can even uninstall it. I
get a "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch
package exists and that you can access it or contract the application vender
to verify that this is a valid windows patch package". The uninstall aborts
at this point. I assume that this relates to the ADT3.3 SP1. Do I need to
reconstruct the exact UNC of the old file server that was the network
installation point? Where could I find these in the registry? I have
searched the registry and didn't find any UNC names that it is looking for.
I tried to reinstall the ADT3.3 SP1 but it tells me that it is already up to
date.
I'm running Windows2000 at SP3.
