Network Installation Wizard and Service Packs

I created a new adm image and it installs fine for Acad2004. According to the directions I need to the the patch from the dos prompt with /e. I tried, nothing happens. It's suppose to create a .msp file. So???? what am I doing wrong?

This functionality is only applicable for
patching a deploy image, but there are no Service Packs for AutoCAD 2004.
Nothing to patch.  Just use and enjoy your deployment.  If the Service
Pack is released, then you will extract MSP and patch your
deployment.

Thanks,

Misha

What about the service packs for the mechanical product. amech6sp3.exe and mech6sp4.exe. Will this work for them?

Thanks

So, what i'm hearing is that only Service Packs can get rolled into a
netowrk image? What about hot-fixes that have been released for Land Desktop
2004?

Most people are waiting to actually roll out the new version until most
functions work without crashing. We need some way to include the hot-fixes
in the network image. Apparently, the hot-fixes DO take care of the various
functions that crash LDT 2004. Any suggestions?
