Just upgraded the operating sysytem on my comupter from windows 7 32-bit to windows 7-64 bit. When I purchased AutoCAD LT 2011 I used the download option to download a 32-bit version of the software.
how can I download/obtain a 64-bit version of my AutoCAD LT 2011?
FYI I already used the license transfer utility to export the license prior to upgrading the operating system, which requires a complete re-install of all software.
thanks

Hi chadvogt,
Download link sent via Private Message. 🙂
Note that once you have downloaded and installed your AutoCAD LT 64-bit, you can opt to reactivate the License. To do so, visit: http://autode.sk/526boW and click on the Product Registration and Activation link.
Downloaded and installed software. When I click the icon on the desktop it re-starts the installtion process rather than starting the software.
what did I do wrong and how do I fix it?
thanks,
Chad
Hi Chad,
Please make sure that you are double clicking on the Autocad LT icon and not on the icon for the installation files.
Hi chadvogt,
Please attach screen shots of the issue you are having so we can troubleshoot your issue.
Hello Chadvogt,
What the system is asking you do to now is install the software on your computer. First you download the "installation files" from the interned, now you have to continue with installation. Please accept the License Agreement and the installation will continue.
I do not think that is the issue. For two major reasons:
1. I have already seen this screen once and it ended with a "you have sucessfully installed AutoCAD LT 2011"
2. Second when I tried to do as you suggested and continue with the installation I got the error message in the attached image.
FYI I have already tried a complete uninstall and manually re-luanching the setup.exe file and again received the "successfully installed" page only to have the same thing happen.
thanks
Chad
Hi chadvogt,
I had to remove your attachment because it had your serial number on it. Please re-post your attachement without the serial number.
SOLVED!!!
I used Revo unistaller to remove ALL autodesk products from my computer including any left over registry items. I then manually deleted any and all files left on the machine that had AutoDesk as a publisher. I then reinstalled both Revit structures and AutoCAD.
Now everthing works fine!
thanks for all your efforts
Hi chadvgot,
