Multi workstation question with licensing

We have two computers here. Once with LT and one with the full version of Autocad.

I'd like to do some 3D modeling on the faster computer which has LT.

My co-worker likes to use LT and other applications on the faster computer.

Can I load the full version of Autocad on the faster computer, so that when he is not on it, I can take advantage of it's speed in 3D visualization?

I would still use my computer, but there would then be a full version of Autocad on each computer.

After reading the license, it says I can have another copy of Autocad on a home computer or laptop as long as they are not running at the same time. So, I'm basically doing the same thing, just at work...using another workstation as that same computer.

Here's one more question. Are we allowed to just switch places during the work day? If my co-worker likes to use some of the full version of Autodesks capabilities, can we switch workstations from time to time? He'll use my machine for a bit and I'll use his.

We both work at the same office. It's licensed to the same company correct?

I'd just like some clarification here.

Good questions. Have you talked about this with your reseller?
I can tell you what I think, but I won't be around if/when Autodesk pays
you a visit, where your reseller will be...

I would ask them.

First, thanks for asking.

Next, I'm not sure, but I believe the requirement is that each workstation
be under one person's exclusive control (like the work/home example). In
your proposal, there's nothing to prevent simultaneous use; in fact, it's
quite likely, given the scenario. The Portable License Utility is the
designed method.

The way to have flexibility of seats across multiple workstations is, of
course, the network license.

Technically this would be best solved by using network licenses. This way
you could run the software on multiple machines and then just have a single
license. That way you would not be able to open the software more than once.
However the technical facts doesn't always go together with the business
descisions so as pointed out you better ask your reseller.
