Hi, student here, and I need to run Mudbox soon for my course.I downloaded the student mudbox 2012 version, and all my objects are jet black. I get a pop up about updating my ATI drivers, and it still keeps coming up even after a variety of updates.I’m working on a HP G7 PavillionSPECS http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/c...4354-5082232-5145849.htmlHelp much appreciated. Also do tell should I need provide more details, I’m new to all this.

Mudbox is one of the most graphics intensive programs. Please check out the product certifications here:

Mudbox is certified only with workstation cards. i.e. Nvidia Quadro & AMD FireGL cards.

well I'm stuck with an ATI right now. does that mean no mudbox 2012 for me? or can i expect a change?

Mudbox 2009 seems ok with my laptop.

Unfortuately, you are stuck.  Each version of the software becomes much more demanding as new features are added.
