Moving AutoCAD 2002 License Server

Is there any documentation on moving AutoDesk License Manager for AutoCAD 2002 to another server? All I can find on the AutoDesk Knowledge base is a page telling me to uninstall the previous installation first but I would ideally prefer to accomplish this with minimal downtime.

Cheers

I don't know if it's documented anywhere. I try to describe the way I
move the licenceserver (I've done it now for five of our costumers
with a minimum of downtime):
1. Install and configure the FLEXlm on the new machine
2. Get the licencefile for the new server from the
authorizationcenter.
3. Change the content of the file "LICPATH.LIC" on one workstation
to the new HostID/Servername.
4. Try if AutoCAD is running well.
5. Copy the new LICPATH.LIC to all of the workstations
6. Shutdown the FLEXlm service on your old server and perform an
uninstall.
Don't forget to update the client deployment directory for later
new installations.
Regards

Andi
